Several netizens have reported that the camels used for tourists to ride in the Crescent Spring scenic spot in Dunhuang, Gansu province, Northwest China, have all stopped working collectively. On July 19, the staff at the scenic spot responded that the recent influx of visitors has been substantial, and with only over 1,000 camels available at the site, some of them have become physically exhausted after their work shifts. Consequently, the camel-riding project has been temporarily suspended.
In addition, dust and camel droppings in the scenic area have caused environmental pollution, and the scenic area is currently undergoing rectification, resulting in the suspension of the project.
近两日，有多位网友反映甘肃敦煌鸣沙山月牙泉景区供游客骑乘的骆驼集体“罢工”。该景区工作人员表示，最近暑期客流量非常大，景区骆驼只有1000多头，有骆驼工作后出现体力不支的情况，所以暂停了该项目。网友戏称：知道的是旅游，不知道的以为攻打匈奴。
