The taste of that wood overpowered the ice cream

Hah yeah I don't remember how any of the ice cream tasted like but the flavor of the wood simply looking at the pic is as real as if was yesterday.

Same. I can feel that wood on my tongue if I think about it. What a weirdly powerful sense memory!

It's not even a spoon! It's quite literally just a flat piece of wood.

Especially when scraped flat against your molars. I could just about die from the thought.

I bought a bunch of these last summer. The thing is I also have these dog treats called frosty paws they look pretty similar. My buddy came over and had what he thought was vanilla ice cream when in reality he was diving into a peanut butter and cheese dog treat. The look of disgust on his face was priceless.

That feeling of peeling the paper lid off by the itty bitty tab of a slightly melted cup (because it has been sitting out for just 2 minutes too long) and is slightly suctioned. Then getting to lick off the light frothy layer on the lid before digging in the cup with the extremely oversized toothpick. Only to be disappointed that it doesn’t taste like the same brand from a normal container but is so darn hot outside you don’t care so you eat it in 3 bites. Then question if you should get another.
